Whether students decide to pursue higher education, a career, the military, or a skilled trade, we are excited to watch them flourish, and our transition specialists are ready to support them every step of the way. We hope you’ll join us in strengthening Jacksonville’s future workforce and supporting students during their most critical years. |

Now, Let’s Make This Summer Count! |
Summer is here, and it’s one of the busiest and most impactful times of the year for supporting students and families! Our six-week FREE summer camps are officially underway across 13 elementary and middle schools and 5 high schools. These programs provide students with a safe, supportive environment where they can stay engaged, continue learning, enjoy nutritious meals, and have plenty of fun along the way.
This summer, campers will participate in exciting enrichment opportunities, including a behind-the-scenes tour of Chick-fil-A, exploring the Jacksonville Zoo, learning about Jacksonville’s rich history while riding with JTA through the city, cheering on the Jumbo Shrimp at a baseball game, fishing at Hanna Park, and so much more. Follow us on social media here to see all the fun, learning, and memories happening throughout the summer. |
Our high school AmeriCorps volunteers have been officially sworn in and are ready to make an impact. As literacy tutors during our summer camps, they’ll help students stay engaged, build confidence, and continue learning throughout the break. In recognition of their dedication and service, each volunteer will earn an education award to support their future college and career goals. |
CIS Board Member Eleni Derke officially swears in CIS high school AmeriCorps volunteers as they begin their summer commitment to supporting and empowering younger CIS Jax students. |

The Kickoff - Our Inaugural Pickleball Fundraiser |
|
|
|
A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, players, volunteers, and supporters who helped make our first-ever pickleball fundraiser, Paddles for Tassels, a smashing success! Together, we raised over $26,000 to continue providing vital services in literacy, case management, afterschool, and workforce development.
Couldn’t make it to the event? It’s not too late to be part of the impact. Keep the kitchen (and impact) HOT and donate today! |
